Prayers to Jesus

Consecration to the Precious Blood of Jesus

Merciful Savior, conscious of my nothingness and of Thy sublimity, I cast myself at Thy feet, and thank Thee for the many proofs of Thy grace. I thank Thee, especially for Your Cross and Precious Blood by which you revealed your infinite love, forgave our sins, and gave us a share in your eternal life.

In the presence of our Mother, Mary, my guardian angel, my patron saint, and of the whole company of heaven, I unite myself voluntarily with my whole heart and forever, O beloved Jesus, to Your Precious Blood, by which Thou has redeemed the world from sin and death.

I promise Thee, with the help of Thy grace and to the utmost of my strength, to love you and thus give you my all as a victim united to you, the Victim of Love at the Cross.

I confess and repent from my sins, my coldness, and all the acts of disrespect I have ever committed against Thee. I make reparation for my disloyalty towards Thy Precious Blood and make satisfaction to Thee for the many profanations which men commit against that precious price of their salvation. Lord Jesus, I offer to Thee the love, honor, and adoration, which Thy most Holy Mother, thy faithful disciples, and all saints have offered to thy Precious Blood.

I ask Thee to forget my sins and coldness and to forgive all who offend Thee. Sprinkle us, O Divine Savior, and all with Thy Precious Blood, so that we, O Love Crucified, may love Thee from now on with all our hearts, and worthily honor the price of our salvation. Amen.

Prayers to the Holy Spirit

Consecration to the Holy Spirit in Jesus, Love Crucified

O Holy Spirit, through Jesus, Love Crucified, I consecrate to You, my entire being as victim soul without any reservation.

At the foot of the Cross, I look up to You and I am MOVED by Your Love. I see your tenderness amidst the anguish of your torn body, horribly disfigured by the afflictions caused by our sins. O Jesus, Love Crucified, VICTIM OF LOVE, I unite myself with you also as a willing victim, ONE with your sorrowful Blessed Mother.

Accept the offering of myself as a LIVING HOST & CHALICE of Your most Precious Blood for the sanctification of priests and of the whole world.

Holy Spirit, BURNING FIRE of the Heart of my Lord, consume me and accept me as a humble offering to the Father for the salvation of mankind. O Jesus, Love Crucified, have Mercy on us and on the whole world.

Marian Prayers

Consecration to Mary

I renew my consecration today through God's pure victim of love, Mary Most Holy. Through her perfect oblation as one in Jesus' perfect sacrifice of love, I present my life to you, Abba, our Father. Receive my life as Christ's pure sacrifice of love for the purification of God's Bride, the Church.

My Mother receive my "fiat," impure and faltering, and make it perfect in you.

I consecrate all that I am and all that I have to you, my sweet Mother.

–I give you my hands that, through the pierced hands of your Son, they may become your instruments of love, reconciliation, peace and healing.

–I give you my feet that they remain barefoot, completely detached from everything that is not your most Holy Son; feet that continue to move forward with perfect trust into the deep.

–I give you my heart, harsh and wretched, so that you can replace it with yours. It is only through your Immaculate and suffering Heart that I can love my Beloved the way that He has loved me.

–I give you my mind, impure as it is, for you to renew through the precious crown of thorns. Provide for me the graces to wear your Son's crown as you did.

–I give you my eyes, that they may see only the goodness of God in everyone; eyes that find the presence of God in everything; eyes that are able to contemplate the beauty of your Son in the Eucharist.

–I give you my ears so that, through you, I can hear the whisper of the Holy Spirit and recognize the voice of God speaking to me. –I give you my mouth that, through you, silence becomes my continuous cry of love to my Beloved, that every word that I speak brings glory and honor to God.

Grant me the grace to take full authority over my thoughts and words so that my life, in you, becomes a red rose with the fragrance of purity and humility to the Most Holy Trinity. Amen

My little one, believe that God our Father will receive the oblation of your lives today in Spirit and Truth as a living torrent of grace to bless the world. You must believe in the power of your hidden ordinary lives united as ONE to My sacrifice of love as God's hidden force that will renew the face of the earth.

Rosary

The Rosary is a very powerful weapon because it unites us to the power of Christ´s love with Mary. Our Lady reminded us at Fatima of the importance of praying it daily to be united with her, to save many from hell and to bring about peace in our homes and in the world.  Every family should pray the rosary daily united as one.

The Holy Rosary is not a pious practice banished to the past, like prayers of other times thought of with nostalgia. Instead, the Rosary is experiencing a new springtime. —Pope Benedict XVI, May 3, 2008, first Saturday.

Prayers for Spiritual Motherhood

Fiat to Mary for the Mothers of the Cross

Maria Hickein, adapted from writings of Blessed Conchita Cabrera

O holiest Mother, you tell me that you received the prelude to the Sacraments in the Incarnation, because the Eucharist is an extension of the Incarnation.  In the Incarnation was the first Eucharist, the first Communion of the world with God.  You received it Mother, in order to give it to me.  Your flesh and your blood became one with the Divine Word, and when you gave Him to me through that Sacrament, your substance and His substance became one with mine.

Prayer for Spiritual Mothers

To be prayed by priests and seminarians

Dearest Jesus, I love you with my whole heart! Springing from my love for You comes my love for all souls. Please teach me how to love them as You love them. By calling me to be a priest, You have called me to be close to Your Sacred Heart. To be so close has two reasons: to intercede for others and to console Your Heart. I unite myself as a victim with You on the cross, offering myself in intercession for those You have entrusted to me and making reparation for the sins we commit against You.

Examination of Conscience on Love 🔗

Litany of Humility
Rafael Cardinal Merry del Val (1865-1930)

O Jesus! Meek and humble of heart, Hear me.

From the desire of being esteemed,

—Deliver me, Jesus. (repeat after each line)

From the desire of being loved…

From the desire of being extolled…

From the desire of being honored…

From the desire of being praised…

From the desire of being preferred to others…

From the desire of being consulted…

From the desire of being approved…

From the fear of being humiliated…

From the fear of being despised…

From the fear of suffering rebukes…

From the fear of being calumniated…

From the fear of being forgotten…

From the fear of being ridiculed…

From the fear of being wrong…

From the fear of being suspected…

That others may be loved more than I,

—Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it  (repeat)

That others may be esteemed more than I…

That, in the opinion of the world,

others may increase and I may decrease…

That others may be chosen and I set aside…

That others may be praised and I unnoticed…

That others may be preferred to me in everything…

That others may become holier than I, provided that I may become as holy as I should…
