Behold the humily of Jesus, Love Crucified

The Our Lord has made it clear that the Family of Love Crucified must be founded on HUMILITY. We must BEG our Beloved to saturate our weak and miserable hearts with His humility and the humility of our Blessed Mother. We must be willing to be NOTHING, forgetting our own plans, desires and dreams, and solely desiring to do His will. Our only desire needs to be the Cross, our joy should be found only in the Cross, because that was the sole desire of Jesus here on earth. He tells Conchita, "I never desired anything except the Cross, and ever the Cross, wanting to show the world That which is the sole wealth and happiness on earth, the currency which will buy an eternal happiness." The hidden life of love -Lourdes Pinto
The family of Love Crucified is called to respond to Christ's love by loving Him who is not loved with the pure love of a hidden victim soul. We are called to live as His hidden martyrs of love, imitating Mary.

The Spirit moves my heart to perfect love in the hidden life. This fills me with great joy and freedom because it is in my hidden life where I am able to love most purely without the stain of my ego and vanity.

The Way of St. Francis
Francis loved the child Jesus, because for him it was in this childish estate that God’s humility shone forth. God became poor. His Son was born in the poverty of the stable. In the child Jesus, God made himself dependent, in need of human love, he put himself in the position of asking for human love – our love.

If we want to find the God who appeared as a child, then we must dismount from the high horse of our "enlightened" reason. We must set aside our false certainties, our intellectual pride, which prevents us from recognizing God’s closeness. We must follow the interior path of Saint Francis – the path leading to that ultimate outward and inward simplicity which enables the heart to see. We must bend down, spiritually we must as it were go on foot, in order to pass through the portal of faith and encounter the God who is so different from our prejudices and opinions – the God who conceals himself in the humility of a newborn baby. -Benedict_XVI, full text

Key to greatness
Humanity's dream which began in the Garden of Eden--we want to be like God--is realized in an unexpected way, not through the greatness of man, who cannot make himself God, but through the humility of God Who came down among us in His humility, raising us to the true greatness of His being.

The beauty and power of humility -St. Faustina
“Jesus gave me to know the depth of His meekness and humility and to understand that He clearly demanded the same of me.” Diary 758

O humility, lovely flower, I see how few souls possess you. It is because you are so beautiful and at the same time so difficult to attain? O yes, it is both the one and the other. Even God takes great pleasure in her. The floodgates of heaven are open to a humble soul, and a sea of graces flows down upon her. O how beautiful is a humble soul! From her heart, as from a censer, rises a varied and most pleasing fragrance which breaks through the skies and reaches God Himself, filling his Most Sacred Heart with joy. God refuses nothing to such a soul; she is all powerful and influences the destiny of the whole world. God raises such a soul up to His very throne, and the more she humbles herself, the more God stoops down to her, pursuing her with His graces and accompanying her at every moment with His omnipotence. Such a soul is most deeply united with God. O humility, strike deep roots in my whole being. O Virgin most pure, but also most humble, help me to attain deep humility. Now I understand why there are such few saints; it is because such few souls are deeply humble." Diary 1306
